Shannon, M.D., D.F.A.P.A. is a board-certified psychiatrist and product of Wayne State University of Medicine, Detroit, MI Clinical Psychiatry, General Pediatrics and Family Medicine Honors M.D. Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, GA Spelman College, Atlanta, GA Bachelor of Science, Biology Pre-Med/Major Biochemistry/Minor. Dr. Shannon is the Medicine Faculty Clinician at Morehouse School of Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and a Consultant at Georgia Regional Hospital Atlanta as well as the Medical Director and founder of Positive Balance Wellness Center.

Gamel is the CEO/Founder of The Helping Hand Travels LLC and a certified behavior modification & anger management specialist who worked in the field of Social Service and Behavioral Health for over three decades.
Gamel is a former Supervisor of two Adult Mental Health Acute Crisis Stabilization Units for the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities at Georgia Regional Hospital Gamel is also a certified treatment provider for trauma informed care, Domestic Violence, Self-Harm and Suicidal Ideations, cognitive & dialectical behavior specializing in anxiety, narcissistic relationships, Opposition Defiant Disorder, and Conflict Resolution.
Keesha holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern University and A&M College in addition to the degree Keesha is a Certified Recreation Therapist with over 20 years of experience working in a variety of settings as a therapist. Keesha facilitates counseling and therapeutic groups for the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities at Georgia Regional State Hospital Adult Mental Health and Forensic Units focusing on behavior management.

Nicole Jenkins holds a BA from Bowie State University, Master’s in music therapy from Drexel University, and Master’s in Public Health from Walden University and State Certified Vocal and General Music Teacher and Board-Certified Music Therapist. Nicole works diligently providing music therapy to the adult mental health community for over nine years. Nicole modified the maladaptive behavior of the individuals through music therapy enriching and enhancing their lives while shaping their behavior to be appropriate for social interaction.
Nancy received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Services from Clayton State University. Nancy is a Certified Anger Management Specialist and served as the Liaison for children and their parents at Oakland City Recreation Center for one decade.

Paul Posey holds a BA in Business Management from Phoenix University, and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Paul is a Retired Gunnery Sergeant with more than two decades of service with the United States Marines Corps.
Paul provided mental health services for over two decades through organizations such as Atlanta Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center, SDP3 “Self-Discovery, Pain, Positioning and Purpose”, NAMI “National Alliance of Mental Illness”. Paul enhances the quality of life by changing behaviors.
Lytissue holds a Master's in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Troy University in Montgomery, Alabama. Lytissue possesses close to two decades of experience as a psychiatric nurse. Lytissue's tenure as a mental health nurse for MHM Correctional Services and Montgomery Area Mental Health Authority in Montgomery Alabama allowed her to obtain a unique set of talents that sharpened her understanding of healthcare with a solid foundation in business administration and the principles of public service. Lytissue's level of expertise in her professional positions improves patient outcomes and contributes to the ever-changing area of healthcare.
Professor Woods holds a Bachelor of Science in Visual Arts and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Arkansas. Professor Woods is an active member of the regional and national art venue as well as a curator. Professor Woods's experience as a curator allowed him to co-curate an exhibit at Historic Arkansas Museum. Professor Woods collaborated with institutions such as the Agora Gallery in NYC, the Texarkana Regional Arts Council, and the Arkansas Arts Council. Professor Woods taught on all levels in public education and as of August 2023, Professor Woods became a Visiting Assistant Professor at Morehouse College in the Visual Arts Department.

Maria McKenzie-Parkinson holds a Associate of Nursing (ASN) Degree from Huston Community College, a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) degree from Molloy University, and a Master of Business (MBA) Degree from Hofstra University. Maria has over three decades of nursing experience in various roles which includes one decade as a director of nursing. Marias expertise encompasses medical-surgical, emergency, and psychiatric nursing. Maria epitomizes a life of resilience, dedication, and community service.
