COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENT
The comprehensive assessment explores the personal and professional history, this consist of Physical and Mental Health along with Legal History to determine the appropriate course of action going forward. The assessment is a non-judgmental factfinding instrument that is designed to elicit information from the subconsciousness. The assessment is a tool that will reveal underlining issues that will provide other information allowing The Helping Hand to provide optimum service. During the assessment and after all questions are addressed the client/individual elaborate on any issue that was not addressed through the questioner and articulate any questions or concerns that they would like clarification on.

TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICE
Telecommunication services are available after the face to face assessment has been completed. Complications may arise at the most inopportune time and a physical meeting for service will not be possible. Telecommunication is a private and discreet way to receive service during those times. Telecommunication service can be applied through face time, video to video, landline or cell phone. Telecommunication service should schedule in the manner as a physical face to face session to avoid schedule conflict. However, urgent telecommunication service may be applied depending on availability.

INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS
Individual sessions are offered for those that would like to be private & discrete unless court mandated to attend groups. The Helping Hand can bring the service to you. We can meet in the library, Starbucks, Donut Shop, Caffe or the public park. However, the environment of the place of choice should be relaxing and away from others that may interrupt the session. The Helping Hand reminds that the sessions belong to the client/individual and that all energy should be focused on the issue or concern presented by the client/individual and that energy or focus cannot be achieved when there are outside interruptions. During the private sessions the client/individual can elaborate on any subject and The Helping Hand will assist to achieve the goal of the client/individual. If the subject matter is out of the scope of The Helping Hand discipline referrals to appropriate agencies will be provided for services.

GROUP SESSIONS
Group sessions offer skill sets that will enhance your professional and personal life through interaction with peers. In the group sessions there are no more than ten participants pre facilitator. The Facilitator will set the ground rules that are geared to promote respect, dignity, safety and security. All members in the group will participate in all sessions. Each session will address a structured topic form a twelve-session course. All sessions are mandatory for certificate of completion if court ordered. For the participants that are not court mandated you are allowed to miss one session of the twelve-week course, however, you are required to attend the mist session to receive a certificate of completion.
